Positive Behaviour Support
Everyone communicates through behaviour; however, what that behaviour communicates is not always easily understood. Have you ever seen someone act in a way that made you question or wonder what they were doing or why? Often, it is because they are trying to tell you something.
Understanding that behaviour is communication is vital for anyone who supports people experiencing disability. This program will outline a process to help you understand how to determine what the person is trying to tell you through their actions.
PBS was developed in consultation with Community Living Service Delivery (CLSD), Ministry of Social Services and is equivalent to CLSD’s Level II Training.
NEW! PBS now provides module workbooks, refreshed content, knowledge checks, and a three-year certification!
Learners have 30 days to complete PBS.
