SARC Learning Central is a hub for training and education initiatives geared towards nonprofit organization Boards, management, and staff. All programs offered through SARC Learning Central aim to strengthen organizations and the quality of services they provide. Training is offered in a variety of formats including online, in-person, and Train-the-Trainer. SARC is committed to providing top quality transferable learning opportunities, through working with facilitators and our in-house staff experience.
Online Resources
SARC Learning Central also has a variety of online resources for nonprofit staff and Board Directors.
What does the SARC Learning Central Resource Area include?
- Front-line staff will find information for working in a client support role in the nonprofit sector (i.e. employee wellness, advocacy, aging, person centredness, etc.)
- Board Directors will find sample policies, templates, and checklists in a variety of governance areas (i.e. Board framework, recruitment and orientation, financial oversight, etc.)
- Managers will find sample resources from the password protected Manager Resource Area. Like what you see? There are hundreds of resources available to SARC Members in the password protected Manager Resource Area. These resources include a variety of helpful tools and templates for nonprofit Managers in Human Resources, Labour Relations and more.
