SARC's Virtual Conference 2020

SARC's Virtual Conference 2020

Why a Virtual Conference?

Due to COVID-19 and restrictions on large group sizes, SARC made the difficult decision to cancel this year's Spring and Fall conferences. However, we couldn't imagine going a year without a conference, so we're pleased to be hosting a virtual conference, where there will be something for everyone!

Interested in learning more? Check out the 'Virtual Conference Agenda' tab for more information.

How will the Virtual Conference work?

1. Each person must register for the conference by clicking on the blue 'Register' button at the top right hand corner of this page.

2. In 3-5 business days after you register, you will be sent an email from Zoom that will contain a unique link.

3. Save this email - you will use your unique link each time you wish to join a session.

4. One week before the conference, you will be sent a reminder email about the conference. Any further instructions will be provided at that time.

5. Review the conference agenda and make a plan. Which sessions do you want to participate in? What are the dates and times?

6. At 8:30 a.m. on October 26 (the first day of the conference), you will receive an email with a welcome message.

7. Join sessions as you wish, simply by clicking on your unique link at the time the session is scheduled for. See the Conference Agenda for dates and times of each session.

8. During the session(s), type any questions that come up for you in the Q&A box in Zoom. There will be a live Q&A session with the facilitator following each session, where your questions will be answered.

With your conference registration fee, you are able to join all or some of the sessions. On the day and time that sessions are scheduled for, click on your unique link to participate in the session.

If you have any questions, or require technical assistance, please email sarclearningcentral@sarcan.sk.ca.
