Workplace bullying is a behaviour intended to intimidate, offend, degrade or humiliate a particular person or group. Although it can include physical abuse or the threat of abuse, bullying usually causes psychological rather than physical harm, which can make it difficult to recognize when it is happening.

Saskatchewan introduced legislation in 2007 that made workplace bullying illegal when The Occupational Health and Safety (Harassment Prevention) Amendment Act, 2007 was passed.
