As a requirement of CLSD COMPASS funding, SARC must report on training satisfaction rates. As a result, we ask that all Learners complete individual program evaluations immediately upon finishing any training, as well as within 3-4 months of completion. Your feedback will also be used to ensure that SARC continues to provide the best training possible.

What are the benefits of Leap?

For learners:

  • Presents practical information, principles, best practices, and tips in a variety of management areas, and provides the tools to implement these principles into their leadership and daily management style.
  • Gives the opportunity to increase their leadership and management skills in a variety of areas (i.e. communication, branding and promotions, human resources, etc.).
  • Provides valuable resource material and handbooks to take with them and reference throughout their career.
  • Networking opportunities – Networking that comes from working and learning with the same group of learners at each Leap session. Who better to learn from than those going through the same experiences?  Past graduates have stated their appreciation for peer-based learning, saying that it was advantageous to be in a group for networking purposes, to listen and ask questions of others in the group, and to hear ideas on how to handle situations in the workplace that others have been through.
  • Encourages continuous learning and further career development.
  • Opens doors for career advancement within the organization.

For the organization:

  • Results in a well-trained Manager, leading to a successful organization and increasing organizational capacity and sustainability.
  • Provides an immediate return on investment as Managers implement the skills and principles learned in all sessions.
  • Increases the likelihood of achieving and maintaining a standard of excellence within the organization and the supports provided to clients.
  • Promotes further organizational awareness and knowledge of current management principles and best practices.
  • Can be considered an integral part of an organization’s internal succession and leadership development plan.
  • Translates to a healthy organization and successful client and service outcomes.

Learners also receive:

  • Certificate of Completion – Upon completion of all Leap sessions, in their entirety, Leap Graduates will receive a Certificate of Completion and be recognized for their commitment to leadership.
  • SARC training discount – All Leap Graduates will receive 10% off future in-person training events attended through SARC (some restrictions apply).
